Christmas is the “Best Time of the Year” and some of it is FREE… and it’s happening in Las Vegas this Holiday Season! Take a break from shopping and grab your coat, get the kids and head out for some of the most “Magical Christmas Sights” in town. We’ve searched out the best for you, your family and friends to enjoy.
We’ve made a list, and checked it twice, to make your adventures are easy to find.
#1 Mystic Fall Park – Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall…a yearly event which turns the Mystic Fall Park Light and Water Show into a spectacular winter wonderland featuring Santa’s workshop with elves busily making toys for the good girls and boys while enjoying a laser show, synced to the best holiday tunes, to get you in the mood. Shows run from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on the hour but if its Santa you want to see, join us on Thursday and Friday from 4 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. then again, Saturday and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 8:30 p. m. #2 The Park Vegas- on the Las Vegas Strip brings “Holiday at The Park” featuring the sights and sounds of the season beginning with an 80 foot tree decorated top to bottom with Christmas Cheer and while you’re there, enjoy Ice Skating around the tree with the kids, (fees may apply).

#3 Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens – Welcome in winter at Bellagio’s Convervatory & Botanical Gardens with a rich display of Holiday Cheer featuring the sights and sounds of Christmas with lush displays using lights, animation, flowers and greenery to make up the animals, cottages, toy soldiers and new this year, the “Ice Princess”. #4 Ethel M Cactus Garden – For over 20 years, the Holiday Cactus Garden has been a favorite for locals and visitors alike, with displays that will dazzle the mind. With three acres of more than 600,000 lights lighting the desert, there is much to see. Join us on the weekend for Santa and local choirs that perform their Holiday Music for everyone to enjoy. #5 Winter Wonderland at The LINQ Promenade – The LINQ Promenade transfored into a winter wonderland complete with snow. With dancing, singing, and decorations, this is sure to bring back childhood memories of Christmas past. Join in on the fun with shows starting at 6 p. m. through December 30. Free

#6 Wynn’s Winter Wonderland – Travel through the eyes of the storybook, Gulliver’s Travels, at Wynn Las Vegas Atrium, located next to the Main Registration and enjoy a wonderful display of six wintery villages that will make you want to be part of the story. Through December 30 – Free

#7 Believe in Magic – Holiday Show at Fashion Show Mall – Join us for a fun filled time with dancing and singing that will get everyone in the holiday spirit. A bit like a broadway show, and a great way to take a break from another hectic shopping trip. Shows every two hours, 12 p. m. – 6 p. m. through December 24 – Free

#10 Silverton Casino Hotel Aquarium – Scuba Santa swims in the holiday season at Silverton Aquarium. Watch Santa as he swims among sharks, stingrays and tropical fish to bring a bit of holiday cheer to the waters. #12 Wet’n ‘Wild – Christmas Town at Wet’n ‘Wild is sure to put anyone in the holiday spirit with a wonderful nightime winter wonderland exhibit featuring entertainment and attractions with over three million lights, a synthetic ice skating rink and a Christmas tree standing 40 feet tall and let’s not forget a sledding hill that runs 100 feet. #13 The Cosmopolitan – The Ice Rink at The Cosmopolitan is the Boulevard Pool, transformed for the holidays at over 4,000 square feet of real ice. Locals and guest alike will enjoy skating to holiday music, light shows, roasting s’mores by the fire pits and wonderful warm cocktails. What more could one ask for? Times vary. #15 Springs Preserve Holiday Express – The Springs Preserve gets into the holiday for the entire family to enjoy. Start with a train ride to Santa’s magical village then on to photo’s with the jolly old man, and if you like the art of decorating cookies, you can do that. If you are in the mood to listen to a holiday tale, stories are read daily plus so much more to see and do. Don’t forget to bring your camera to catch all the surprises around every corner. #17 Magical Forest at Opportunity Village – A yearly event for locals, the Magical Forest at Opportunity Village has delighted children as well as adults for many years. A great way to show you care while enjoying the three million lights that brighten up the night. Make sure to visit the Gingerbread House display plus you can ride the Forest Express train or take a spin on the Carousel before visiting Santa. There is fun for everyone with so much to see and do.
