We’ve arrived at another exciting, boozy holiday – that’s always something to celebrate! But it’s VERY hot in the desert and the last place we want to spend our time is in the kitchen cooking up cocktails. We’re hitting the streets for this one, and we’re rounding up our lucky seven favorite spots to grab a martini in Vegas.
There’s literally DOZENS of classic and crafted cocktails to choose from, so this could be the place to post up for a long evening. Can’t choose? We have a hard time, too! A hands-down favorite is the Bellini Martini, which mixes a vodka base with peach, orange juice, and sparkling wine. You might just feel like you’re cruising down a Venetian canal. Prefer a gin martini? Try the refreshing Cucumber!
National Martini Day falling on a Wednesday? That’s a happy coincidence, considering our favorite martini at DCR is called Making Fetch Happen. It’s pink (of course) and features vodka, strawberry dill puree, and lemon juice. If you don’t feel like sitting with The Plastics today, go for the Income Tax, a gin martini with both dry and sweet vermouth, fresh orange, and Angostura bitters.
Juniper knows their gin, and they make a MEAN Dirty Martini. With a Sapphire Dry Gin and Dry Vermouth base, the martini is beautifully complemented by orange bitters, rosemary, and even an olive form. For a fun, fruitier cocktail, try the The Little Birdie, made with gin, strawberry, vermouth and fresh lemon. The best part? It’s served in an adorable glass bird.
- Bound Bar (The Cromwell)
The Cromwell’s lobby bar is a sophisticated spot to enjoy a couple martinis with a couple of your best friends. The vibe is classy and intimate, and the experienced mixologists can whip up a wide variety of tasty cocktails. You’ll love the Breakfast Martini, which combines Bombay Sapphire Gin with Cointreau, fresh lemon juice, and orange marmalade. It’s like a delightful evening mimosa, with a little more fire!
What better occasion for a dessert martini? Look no further than the Key Lime Pie Martini by Peppermill, which features vanilla vodka, Midori Melon and pineapple juice, shaken with whipped cream and served in a glass rimmed with graham cracker crumbs. It’s absolutely decadent! The timeless lounge serves up tons of other amazing and unique cocktails, so spend some time exploring your taste buds on this special, boozy holiday.
- The Dorsey (The Venetian)
Tucked inside The Venetian, The Dorsey is an ornate, sophisticated spot serving up cocktails by award-winning bartender, Sam Ross. You’ll love the aptly-named Easy Street, a refreshing vodka-based cocktail lightened with cucumber, elderflower, and lemon. It’s definitely the most fun way to beat the heat.
- Center Bar (Hard Rock)
This rockin’ spot at the heart of the Hard Rock Casino is known for its action and amazing cocktails. They make the perfect classic martini, with your choice of Bombay Sapphire Gin or Grey Goose Vodka, dry vermouth, and delightfully complemented with bleu cheese stuffed olives. If you need a little after work boost, try the All Nighter Espresso Martini, featuring vanilla vodka, kahlua, Bailey’s Irish Cream, and espresso.
